The death occurred in a private hospital at Hobart yesterday morning of Mr. Graeme Bisdee (62). Mr. Bisdee, who was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bisdee, of Sandhill, Jericho, and later of Hutton Court, Somersetshire, England, was born at Sandhill. He was educated at St. Peter's School, Adelaide, and the Hutchins School, Hobart. When his parents went to Somersetshire he took over the management of the Sandhill property from his father. He served in the last war, holding the rank of captain in the 40th Battalion.
On his return from the war he joined the staff of Roberts and Co. Ltd. Mr. Bisdee was a member of the Royal Hobart Golf Club and was a lay reader at St. Peter's Church, Jericho.
He married Miss Philippa Morris, daughter of the late Dr. A. B. Morris, of Launceston. He is survived by his wife, son (Major Maurice Bisdee, who is serving with the Army Medical Corps in India), and daughter (Mrs. T. D. Raphael, of Hobart). Cremation will take place at Hobart tomorrow morning.
