Eleanor Mary Bergan (1879–1952)

The death occurred at Campbell Town of Miss Eleanor Bergan, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. Bergan.

Miss Bergan, who was born at Campbell Town, where she lived all her life, was held in high esteem.

For many years she was a teacher in the Education Department, and was music teacher and organist at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church for 50 years.

The funeral took place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery yesterday. Services at St. Michael's Church and the graveside were conducted by Father V. Shelverton.

Chief mourners were Mr. and Mrs. A. Loughnane, Mrs. A. Harvey and Mr. C. Gregg (cousins).

Funeral arrangements were by Lockett and Sons, Campbell Town.
