Miss Beath (1850–1900)

Miss Beath, 50 years of age, daughter of the late Mr. David Beath, and one of the oldest residents of Hamilton, to which she came when only a year old, from pneumonia and pleurisy. Miss Beath had been governess and companion with the Robertson family at Skene and had nursed the late Mrs. Robertson in her fatal illness.
