Ainsworth, William (1875–1945)

The death is announced from Vaucluse (Sydney), of Mr. William Ainsworth and who for years was secretary of the Australian Federation of Loco Enginemen. The deceased was known by practically every member of the railway running staff through-out the west, particularly Bathurst, and his death will be generally regretted. Mr. J. B. Chifley, Federal Treasurer, with whom the deceased was closely associated in railway matters for many years, has sent a message of condolence to the bereaved relatives.
