Lewis Wolfe Levy Memorial Fountain (Botanic Gardens, Sydney)

The memorial fountain was gifted to the people of Sydney by the children of Lewis Wolfe Levy in 1889. It was placed at the Domain entrance to the Botanic Gardens and was prepared at the works of Messrs Freeman, Penryn and Cornwall. The figure, a water nymph in bronze, was cast by C. B. Birch.
