James Wilbow (1823–1906)

Mr. James Wilbow, senr., passed away at Pitt Town on the 26th instant, from senile decay, at the age of 82 years. Deceased was a man who was always highly respected, and leaves a family of 7 sons and 3 daughters, most of whom live in this district. Fifty five years ago he was a member of the police force, and was stationed at Pitt Town, but latterly had been following farming pursuits. The burial took place in the Church of England cemetery, Pitt Town on the 27th inst.
