White, Clarence E. (?–1914)

Clarence White, n.d.

Clarence White, n.d.

from Pastoral Review, 16 September 1914

One of the best known men in New England, N.S.W., Mr. Clarence E. White, of Rockwood, Uralla, died on his station on the 1st inst. Mr. White took a great interest in the well-known Church of England School at Armidale, and in all philanthropic movements. He will be greatly missed in the district, and in The Review's Sydney office, where he was a constant visitor. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his widow and children. Rockwood originally came into the White family by purchase from Mr. R. G. Higgins by the late Mr. Frederick White, father of Mr. Clarence White. It is a beautifully improved property, and no more hospitable household could a visitor expect to find.
