John Campbell Whalan (1842–1914)

Mr. John C. Whalan, who has been ill for a few days, died this (Tuesday) morning at eight o'clock.

OBERON, Tuesday.
I regret to report the death of Mr. J. C. Whalan, of Edith, which occurred this morning, after a few days' illness, the cause of death being pneumonia. The deceased was 72 years of age, and was a very highly respected resident of this district. He has left a widow and grown-up family, to whom the deepest sympathy is extended.
