Joseph Underwood (1779–1833)

Died.-On Thursday morning last, at his residence on the Parramatta Road, Mr Joseph Underwood, merchant, a very old Colonist. Mr Underwood was a man of great kindness of heart, and his memory will be cherished by a numerous circle of friends and acquaintances by whom his hospitable and benevolent qualities were greatly esteemed.
