Francis George Small (1866–1938)

The death occurred of Mr. Francis George Small, 72, at the residence of his son, Mr F. N. Small, Bent Street, Wingham, on Saturday morning. Deceased who was a native of Woodford Island, Clarence River, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Small. Deceased was timber inspector in the Forestry Department at Kempsey 1902– 1910, sawmill manager at Maclean 1910–12; and Senior Forester at Wyong 1912–30. On January 20, 1904, the late Mr Small was married to Miss Janet Mary Sawyer at Kempsey. Besides the widow, two sons are left.
