Elliott Slade (?–?)

Lieut. Elliott Darcy Slade, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Slade, of Wahroonga, and nephew of Mr. J. Slade, of Armidale, was killed in action in France on March 30. At the time of his enlistment, Lieut. Slade was attending the University. He had obtained his Arts degree, and was at the Law School with a view of taking L.L.B. degree. Lieut. Slade, who was 23 years and 8 months old when killed, enlisted in May, 1915, in the A.A.M.C. He obtained transfer to the infantry at the end of that year.
