Elias Samuel (1830–1904)

The death is announced in London of Mr. Elias Samuel, a well-known Melbourne citizen, who left here to reside in London some years ago. Mr. Samuel met with a slight street accident, which, ultimately resulted in his death, at the age of 74. His wife is a sister of Lady Benjamin, and the firm of Elias Samuel and Co. is still represented in Melbourne by Mr. Alfred Samuel, a nephew of the deceased gentleman.
