Mr. John Ross, of Kinross, Holbrook, aged 83, of the well-known Ross family of pastoralists, and the father of Mr. John Ross, Jun., M.L.A., for Albury in that State Parliament, died at Kinross yesterday morning. The Ross brothers, Alexander, John, James, William, and Robert were partners in various stations for a great number of years, and of the family only Mr. Robert Ross now remains. Prior to subdividing their properties some years ago, the Ross brothers were interested in the following stations: —Kinross, Hillside, Rosslyn, Clifton, Uri Park, Garangula, and Ardersier.
