Patrick Joseph Meehan (1877–1943)

The death took place on Saturday last of Mr Patrick Joseph Meehan, late of 4 Bridge Street, Lane Cove, at the age of 65 years. He had been in ill-health for a considerable time. The late Mr Meehan was well-known in Wellington and District, where he resided for a great number of years. He followed farming and grazing pursuits at "Red Hill", and after selling the property, he bought a home at Lane Cove, where he and his wife and family lived for a number of years. He was a man of cheery disposition, and well-liked by everyone who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Edna Marie (Mrs Cornwall) and Laura Margaret (Mrs Craig). The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic portion of the Northern Suburbs Cemetery.
