Donald Norris McDougall (1827–1863)

We regret to announce the death of Donald N. McDougall, Esq., which took place at Texas very suddenly on the morning of Friday the 14th instant. The deceased gentleman retired to rest on Thursday night, apparently in his usual health; but about half-past two o'clock the following morning he was found calm in the sleep of death. We are informed that the deceased of late suffered occasionally from palpitation of the heart, and it was this which caused his sudden removal to the great grief and regret of his family and friends.
