John Henry Kable (1828–1916)

Another link connecting the past with the present, has been broken by the death of a very old and respected resident of Bathurst, Mr. John H. Kable. He had been in failing health for some time past. He was born at Richmond, Windsor, 90 years ago. His widow, who is just about the same age, and five daughters and five sons remain to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father. Mrs Henry Bayliss (Orton Park), Mrs. John Erving (Marrickville); Mr. George Kable (Orton Park); Mrs. Frederick Bayliss (Armclice); Mr. Sydney Kable (Lithgow); Mr. Frederick Kable (Sans Sousi), Mrs. Von Stermer (Katoomba), Mr. Ophir Kable (Bathurst), Mrs. J. Emanuel (Rockdale), Mr. Hubert Kable, Orange. The interment takes place to-morrow (Friday) morning.
