James Bligh Johnston (1850–1925)

The death took place on Saturday morning last of one of the best known and highly respected residents of the district, Mr. James Bligh Johnston. He was 75 years of age and passed away at his late residence 'Spring Hill,' Windsor, after an illness extending over about a week. The late Mr. Johnston filled many public offices. The remains were interred in the historic Presbyterian cemetery, Ebenezer, on Sunday last, the funeral being by motor. An extended obituary notice will appear in our next issue.
