Ivie Constance Hammond (?–1933)

The death of Mrs. Stanley Hammond which occurred at her home Coonac, Clendon road, Toorak on Friday, after a brief illness will be deeply regretted by a wide circle of friends. Mrs Hammond was very well known in Melbourne society. She was the daughter of Captain Webb, one of the founders of Huddart Parker Ltd , and a brother Mr J. L. Webb is the present chairman of directors of the company. Her marriage to Mr. Stanley Hammond combined two old and widely known Brighton families. Mrs Hammond's generous sympathy and practical help will he missed in many philanthropic activities. For the last year she had been a member of the committee of the Queen Victoria Hospital. Mrs Hammond's two elder daughters, Misses Claire and Patricia Hammond are abroad. They left for England early in the year. There are two younger daughters at home.
