Frederick Sheppard Grimwade (1904–1950)

Mr. Frederick Sheppard Grimwade, of Orrong rd., Toorak, died in hospital yesterday, aged 46.

A son of the late Dr. A. S. Grimwade, he was a well-known Melbourne businessman and director of a number of firms, including Australian Industrial Engineering. He had just been appointed an alternative director of Commonwealth Industrial Oases, and was head of Grimwade Castings Pty. Ltd.

Mr. Grimwade was an Australian representative at the Stockholm Industrial Management Conference in 1946.

He was a member of the Australian Club, the Victoria Racing Club, and the Victoria Amateur Turf Club.

He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral will leave his home at 10 a.m. today for the Springvale Crematorium.
