Anne Madeleine (Lena) Fairfax (1870–1926)

A private cable message received in Sydney yesterday morning announced the death at Cannes, in the South of France, of Mrs. Anne Madeleine (Lena) Fairfax, wife of Mr. G. E. Fairfax, a director of the Sydney Morning Herald.

Mrs. Fairfax was a daughter of the late Captain Hixson, R.N., and Mrs. Hixson, of Double Bay, Sydney.
