Charles Elliot (1868–1896)

Our Brimpaen correspondent writes: The death of Mr. Charles Elliot, which has already been recorded in the Times, has cast a gloom over this neighborhood. He was 27 years of age and was one of a family held in the highest esteem by all who are acquainted with them. In any way that aid was needed–whether for church, charity, or any other purpose–the claims were liberally responded to, whilst his straight-forwardness and noble-mindedness won the respect of all. The deepest sympathy is felt for Mrs. Elliot and family in their bereavement.
