Evelyn Mary Cudmore (1896–1936)

The death of Mrs F. A. Cudmore, of East Malvern, occurred suddenly yesterday morning. Mrs Cudmore was preparing to leave by the Maloja for India on Tuesday next with her neice, Miss Rosemary Coulson, the daughter of Dr. A. Coulson and Mrs Cudmore’s sister, Dr Violet Eddy, who live in India. Both Mrs Cudmore and her sister are graduates of Melbourne University, where Mrs Cudmore took her arts and science degrees together, a most unusual achievement. Mrs Cudmore was an active member of the Victorian Women Graduates’ Association, and apart from the personal sorrow of members, her death will be a serious loss to the association.
