Thomas Cowper (1802–1883)

Mr. Thomas Cowper, of Tynedale, a brother of the late Sir Charles Cowper, and also of the present venerable Dean of Sydney, died last Friday week. He had passed the age of fourscore years, being the oldest brother of the family, and had long been in very feeble health. He was at one time Police Magistrate of Tenterfield, and was also for many years a teacher, having been resident in this district for about 30 years. He leaves a widow and four daughters, two of the latter being married.
