James Balfour (1854–1915)

Mr. James Balfour, of Warrie Flat, died on Monday morning after a week's illness. Deceased, who was 63 years of age, was a resident of the district for very many years, and was held in high esteem. He leaves a widow, three sons and five daughters. These are: William Thomas (in camp at Liverpool), James Phillip and Frederick John (Dubbo), Mesdames Sharp (Canbelego), Rowlings (Canbelego), Reece, Godden and Wilson (Dubbo). All the members of the family will be present at the funeral to-morrow. The interment has been delayed to permit of their arrival.
